On March 1, 2023, at the Information and Mass Communication Agency under the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Uzbekistan it was held a briefing in connection with the announcement of a 21% discount for Nowruz by Uzbekistan Airways.
“Uzbekistan Airways announces 21% discount on economy and business class fares for local flights from March 18 to March 22 of this year to provide additional comfort to passengers during the Nowruz holiday and to travel around our country during their days off.
According to the terms of the discount, it is forbidden to combine the holiday discount with other types of discounts. Discount is not valid for children under 2 years old. Children between 2 and 12 years of age receive a 21% discount in addition to the 25% child discount.
Also, from March 26, 2023 to October 28 of this year Uzbekistan Airways airline company is turning into the spring-summer flight schedule. During the summer navigation period, the airline will increase flight numbers to popular tourist destinations, as well as expand route network. During this season, it is planned to carry out regular flights on more than 70 routes. It is operated 2 flights a day from Tashkent to Urganch and Nukus, and 1 flight to Bukhara. At the same time, there are flights from the capital of Uzbekistan to Karshi 2 times a week, to Termiz and Samarkand 6 times a week, along the Fergana valley: to Namangan – 2, to Fergana - 3 times and to Andijan twice” - Kamola Ikramova, Head of Public Relation Department, informed about the discount offered for flights on the days of Nowruz holiday at the briefing.
