First flight from Tashkent to Ankara operated

On November 4, Uzbekistan Airways operated its first regular flight from Tashkent to Ankara. According to aviation traditions, the first flight was greeted with a water arch. The event was attended by employees of Ankara Airport, the Turkish Aviation Service, the management of Uzbekistan Airways, representatives of Uzbekistan and Turkish media. There were 150 passengers with the first flight to Ankara.

Turkey is considered one of the most popular destinations among Uzbekistan Airways passengers. Starting on November 4, Uzbekistan Airways, for the first time in the history of the airline, began operating regular passenger flights to the capital of the Turkish Republic - Ankara. Regular flights on the route Tashkent - Ankara - Tashkent will be operated on a weekly basis, on Saturdays, according to the following schedule:

  • Departure from Tashkent at 06:15, Tashkent time;
  • Arrival in Ankara at 09:15, Ankara time;
  • Departure from Ankara at 10:45, Ankara time;
  • Arrival in Tashkent at 16:50, Tashkent time.

There are also regular flights to Istanbul from Tashkent, Samarkand, Bukhara, Urgench and Fergana.
