It needs to be recalled that today, Airbus A320neo is the best medium-haul aircraft in its class, meets all safety and reliability requirements. It is 15% more economical than the previous generation, and nitric oxide emissions are 50% below international standards.

“In total, by the end of this year, we plan to receive five aircraft of this type. Today we are meeting the second one, the first one arrived in Uzbekistan on June 16, which was immediately put into the schedule and is successfully operated in international and local directions” Shukhrat Khudaykulov, Chairman of the Board of Uzbekistan Airways JSC said.

New aircraft in a period of high demand for air travel will allow us to address issues of effective schedule planning and open new destinations right now. In the future, the airline will work to convert them into a two-class configuration with a business class. There are also plans to refresh the corporate livery in the near future, which is why the eighteenth and nineteenth aircraft are accepted in a simplified fuselage color. The airline plans to use the new aircraft on a number of routes for flights from Tashkent and regions of the Republic. The aircraft was delivered under a long-term lease by BOC Aviation.

Thus, the airline’s fleet includes more than 30 Boeing and Airbus aircraft, including two A-330 aircraft and a short-haul L410, which the airline purchased from a Czech manufacturer to operate flights in the regions of Uzbekistan.

Due to the increase in the number of aircraft, the airline is actively working to train new pilots and flight attendants. High-quality training and commissioning are provided by the specialists of the Training Center LLC and pilot-instructors of Uzbekistan Airways.

The plane was met by the leaders and employees of Uzbekistan Airways, representatives of the media, spotters and students of the Faculty of Aviation Transport Engineering of the Tashkent State Transport University.
