Various national economic goods, equipment and personal property of citizen can be accepted for air shipping, packaging and character properties of which allow their safe transportation.

The acceptance of the usual cargo weighing up to 150 kg is made on common bases. Piece of cargo whose weight exceeds the weight limit and the size dimensions exceeds the loading hatches and cargo compartments of passenger aircrafts is considered heavy and oversized and accepted for carriage according to the rules of transportation of heavy cargo.

Certain types of goods (perishable, dangerous, radioactive, animal and other) which require special conditions of shipping are also taken for the carriage.

Cargo should be packed considering the specific properties of goods so that when conventional treatments ensured its safety during air transportation, as well as exclude the possibility of harming third parties, damage other goods or Airline property.

The Airline has a right to examine the packaging and contents of any cargo piece and to verify the correctness and sufficiency of the information or documents provided in reference to any cargo.

Some countries have restrictions on the import of certain types of cargo. Goods whose import is prohibited by most countries, are:

  • inappropriate, contradicting to the principles of social system of the state literature and objects;
  • items packed in plant materials (hay, straw, grass);
  • counterfeit money, security papers, stamps and equipment for their production;
  • drugs and psychotropic substances.

The shipper is responsible for execution of the state export, import and transit formalities, registration required export licenses, permits, certificates and other documents requested by the national legislation of the country of origin, transfer and destination.
