"Uzbekistan Airways" took part in "Malaysia - Central Asia Fashion Designers"

On November 26, 2019 in Kuala Lumpur was held a gala evening of designers of Central Asia, in which at the invitation of the famous Malaysian fashion designer Jimmy Choo, representatives of our country also took part.

During the evening, organized with the assistance of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Malaysia and the Malaysian jewelry company "Rafflesia Pearl", the works of designers from 5 Central Asian countries - Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Turkmenistan were shown. Our country was presented by a young, talented and promising designer Kamola Rustamova, better known as Azukar Moreno. Before the fashion show, her collection was preceded by a fashion show of Uzbekistan Airways flight attendants' uniforms.

Thematic decoration of the gala evening in the style of Kingdom of Bukhara and the show of Uzbek designer's models allowed the guests and participants of the event to plunge into the extraordinary atmosphere of the diverse cultural heritage of Uzbekistan, to get acquainted with the Uzbek colorites of the unique traditions of our people.

Within the framework of this fashionable event "Uzbekistan Airways" presented the whole range of its services in air transportation, including information about the aircraft fleet, route network, new destinations, provided services on board the aircraft.

At the event, the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Malaysia invited fashion designer Jimmy Choo to visit our country. Also, the famous Malaysian chef Datuk Chef Wan was announced a trip to Uzbekistan in March 2020.

Participation in the "Malaysia - Central Asia Fashion Designers" gala evening served as an excellent platform for the presentation and promotion of Uzbekistan's tourism potential and opportunities of Uzbekistan Airways, as well as for establishing new contacts and attracting potential tourists to our country from Central Asia, Southeast Asia and Malaysia.
