Uzbekistan Airways and Airbus celebrate 30 years of partnership

After much collaborative efforts, trips to Airbus factories, retraining of pilots for new types of aircraft in Germany and France, on June 16, 1993, the airline received its first Airbus 310 aircraft. Shortly thereafter, the fleet was expanded with two more aircraft of the same type.  

The Airbus 310 aircraft operated flights from Tashkent to New York, Moscow, London, Frankfurt, Amsterdam, Istanbul, Tel Aviv, Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur and Seoul. Each of the aircraft had a spacious and comfortable cabin designed to carry 192 passengers.  

Exactly 30 years later, on June 16, 2023, the airline's fleet is being augmented with the eighteenth Airbus 320neo aircraft, and four more aircraft of this type are expected to join the fleet by the end of this year.
