Due to Pakistani airspace closure for commercial flights and overflights since 27th February 2019, Uzbekistan Airways was forced to make changes to its scheduled flights to Amritsar, Delhi, Mumbai, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore and Bangkok, which usually fly over Afganistan, Pakistan and India airspaces.
All flights to/from Amritsar, Delhi, Mumbai, Kuala-Lumpur, Bangkok and Singapore were rerouted to operate over Turkmenistan, Iran and Oman airspaces, which added 2-3 hours to normal flight times.
